JellyCity is one of the key realms within the auntieverse: a surreal, semi-flooded metropolis where aunties and jellies coexist among enigmatic shops, chaotic spas, and a landscape made of translucent, wobbly jelly forms.

Brought to life through animated films such as FOMO Jelly, 1 Star Review, 5 Minutes to Opening, and Not Vegan, JellyCity blends tenderness and social commentary, capturing the entrepreneurial and emotional logic of aunties navigating a world built from jelly.

The universe explores themes of care, community, over-consumption, and the absurd possibilities of everyday life. Loved for its strangeness, colour, and buoyant optimism, JellyCity has become one of the most recognisable destinations within the Auntieverse.

  • 1 Star Review

‘1 Star Review’ is narrated by an opinionated customer visiting a new jelly spa in Jelly City. From the moment she arrives, she critiques the entrance service and insists on trying everything on the spa menu.

  • FOMO Jelly

"FOMO Jelly" is the introduction episode art of the Jelly series within the auntieverse.

  • Weekend Plans

"Weekend Plans" is a sequel to FOMO Jelly, where aunties wear jelly suits as both practical attire and a fashion statement. This video explores the city spaces where jellies thrive.

  • 5 minutes to opening

"5 Mins to Opening" offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the Jelly Mall, capturing the varied activities of aunties and jellies just five minutes before opening hours.

  • Not Vegan

An auntie narrates: “Long, long time ago, before jellies were food, they were friends. And my goodness, they tasted good.” This work revisits old collage-style recipes for cooking jellies: strange, whimsical instructions that are now almost impossible to decipher.

  • Florist

Valentine’s Day 2025, aunties secretly opened their super-exclusive pop-up store on the beach. Unfortunately, no customers arrived, because, of course, nobody knew about it! The pop-up is now closed, but the jelly bouquets are still available online.

  • Limited Edition Fragrance

Auntie overfed Jelly with junk food, and instead of a catastrophe, transformed it into a business model. Jelly’s bad tummy gas was collected and bottled into a limited-edition fragrance, each presented in custom designed bottles.

  • Cute Capitalism

A follow-up to Limited Edition Fragrance, where aunties first harvested Jelly gas to make perfumes. That fragrance was “limited” because it caused the jellies some pain.

  • It's Jelly Time, Baby

It’s Jelly Time, Baby is a commissioned social media artwork for Swatch, set in the whimsical Timepiece District of JellyCity, where everything runs like clockwork and, at special moments, magic happens.
